    CONSTRUCTION & COMPLETION OF 4No BLOCKS OF FOUR-STOREY STUDENTS’ HOSTEL COMPLEX – 7,000 BED CAPACITY

    The company is providing Contract Administration/Management, Cost Engineering/ Quantity Surveying Consultancy and Construction Supervision Services with the Project Management Team (PMT) of the University of Ghana.

    Its’ services provided also includes management of four (4) separate building contract/contractors, nine (10) services sub-contractor and one (1) civil engineering contractor for ancillary roads, drains, paved walkways and parking lots.

    The scope of works to improve the accommodation in the University of Ghana is as follows:-

    Construction and Completion 4No. Four-Storey Students’ Hostel Complex, housing 7,000 plus students.
    Drilling and Mechanization of 3No. Boreholes to supplement water supply from the mains to Hostel Blocks.
    Construction of 4No. Biogas Waste Treatment Systems, out of which water for irrigation of lawns and gas external electrification would be taken care
    Civil Works Ancillary to Student’s Hostel Complex.

    The project includes additional external electro-mechanical engineering works. It is US$ 40.5 million negotiated contract project, earmarked for completion in December 2008.

    The company is responsible for providing Project Management and Cost Engineering consultancy services for the construction of new and ultra modern educational facilities for the Central University College in the Greater Accra Region.

  8. WA SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

    Name of Client & Country of Assignment: Ministry of Education Model School Projects

    The company has been responsible for providing Project Management and Cost Engineering consultancy services for the Upgrading and rehabilitation of Wa Senior Secondary School in the Upper West Region.

    Its’ services provided also includes managing of ten (10) building contractors and six (6) services sub-contractors.

    The works constitute the following:-

    • Rehabilitation of existing single storey residential accommodation for tutors, in all thirty (30) numbers house,
    • Rehabilitation of existing 2-storey dormitory blocks three (3) number
    • Rehabilitation of existing single storey circular chalet dormitory blocks nine (9) number
    • Rehabilitation of existing 2-storey 12 unit classroom blocks one (1) number
    • Renovation and expansion works to existing single storey kitchen and dining hall
    • Construction and completion of 2-storey dormitory block one (1) number
    • Construction and completion of single storey 2-bedroom self contained residential accommodation five (5) number
    • Construction and completion of single storey science laboratory block one (1) number
    • Construction and completion 2-storey 12 unit classroom block one (1) number
    • Completion of existing 2-storey multi purpose administration one (1) number

    The project includes all civil, electro-mechanical engineering and external works.

    A $ 2.45 million mixed development, the project, was completed in December 2006.

  10. CONSTRUCTION OF SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE FOR CAN 2008

    This project involved the construction of sports infrastructure for the CAN 2008 tournament at an estimated cost of $200 million.

    This comprised the construction of two new stadiums at Tamale and Takoradi sports and the rehabilitation of two existing stadiums; Kumasi and Accra sports stadiums.

    Our Principal was part of the Government’s team of Consultants that provided the following services

    • Contract Formulation
    • Contract Documentation
    • Contract Negotiation
    • Preparation of agreements and Facilitation of awards

    The project includes all civil, electro-mechanical engineering and external works.

    A $ 2.45 million mixed development, the project, was completed in December 2006.
